Mandarin Tuxedo

Upon first thought, the words mandarin tuxedo sound like a bright colored and strange tuxedo. However, this is not the case at all. This is merely just a style of the regular tuxedo. The tux gets its name from the style of the collar. In fact, the collar is really the only thing that separates this tuxedo from other tuxedos that you may have seen in the stores.

The collar is shaped a little differently with more of a square look to it. It reminds one of a Japanese style cotton suit. The collar doesn’t go all the way around the neck but rather leaves a gap in the middle of the throat area. As with any tuxedo, you can get this style with several different options.

You could choose several options when it comes to the numbers of buttons located on the jacket. As with other styles of tuxedos, you can also choose different colors of the actual suit as well as the vests and ties that correspond with the suit. You can also choose the length of the jacket just as you would any other style of tux.

The biggest difference between this tuxedo and other tuxedos is the style of the collar and if you choose, the style of the corresponding shirt collar. Other than the style difference, you are really just looking at your basic tuxedo.
